Short bio
Viorel Chelba is a wine consultant and trainer based in Brașov, Romania, WSET Level 3 certified and a wine competition judge. He runs guided tastings, hospitality training and corporate wine events, and is the author of “Vinul pe bune”, a wine guide for the curious.
Long bio
Viorel Chelba has worked in wine since 2013. He ran a wine bar in Brașov, worked in sales for Romanian wineries and in premium wine imports, helping bring Cava houses such as Vallformosa and Grimau to Romania. He is WSET Level 3 certified, a wine competition judge and the author of the WINEtertainer blog. He hosts guided tastings, wine pairing, hospitality team training and corporate events, in Romanian and English. His book, “Vinul pe bune”, gathers everything he has learned from years of tastings and training into an accessible guide.
