Who handles your data

The data controller is Viorel Chelba, a private individual based in Brașov, Romania. You can reach me on WhatsApp at +40 746 943 482 with any question about your data.

What data the website collects

The website has no accounts, no forms that send data to a server, and uses no cookies.

The “Check availability” form sends nothing to the website: it only writes a message in your browser and opens WhatsApp. The message reaches me only if you send it from WhatsApp yourself.

WhatsApp messages

When you message me on WhatsApp, I use your name, phone number and the details you give me to reply, send you an offer and organise the event. The legal basis is entering into and performing a contract at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

WhatsApp is a Meta service that processes data under its own privacy policy.

Hosting and security

The website is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google). Like any server, it automatically logs technical visit data (IP address, browser type, page requested, time) needed to run and secure the website. The legal basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Google acts as a processor.

Visitor statistics

To understand how many people visit the website, I use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a service that uses no cookies, builds no profiles and does not track visitors across websites. The results are aggregate numbers only (visits, pages, countries).

External links

The website links to Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and the WINEtertainer blog. When you open them, those services’ privacy policies apply.

How long I keep data

I keep conversations and event data for as long as needed to organise the event and to meet related legal obligations (for example, accounting).

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to the processing of, and port your data. For any of these, message me on WhatsApp.

You also have the right to complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.
